Games About Baking Cakes
Simply baking a cake can be an enjoyable adventure in itself. You take the separate ingredients, mix them together, add a personal touch, put it in a cake pan and wait eagerly for the final result. If you want to spice up your baking experience or make the process of learning how to bake fun for young people, try a cake baking game.

Competition
-
Arrange bakers into teams, or have each person bake her own cake. Require each baker to use the basic ingredients needed for a cake, but allow bakers to add their own special ratios, spices, flavorings and other surprises. Set a timer and have each team or baker bake a cake in a specified time frame. Once the timer sounds, it's time for the judge panel to taste the cakes. Let three to five people who didn't bake a cake be the judge panel and taste a bite of each cake one by one to vote on the winner. To make it even more exciting, tape it with a video camera and pretend it's a game-show.
Spontaneous Creation
-
Put a spin on your favorite cake recipe. Instead of baking a traditional chocolate cake, make a cayenne and cinnamon chocolate cake. The goal of this game is to bake a unique yet delicious cake using spontaneous spices and ingredients. Experimentation makes the best bakers. If you accidentally create something with a foul taste, remember that practice makes perfect.

Cake Decorating
-
Once you have a fluffy cake foundation, decorate the top and sides with icing, sprinkles, plastic toys and other colorful additions. If you need some direction, theme the cake after your favorite cartoon, fairy tale or Disney movie. Choose the right colors, images, decorations and designs to communicate your theme.
Original Shapes
-
Amateur bakers typically produce rectangular cakes. If you feel up to the challenge, try to make a circular, heart-shaped, crescent-shaped or square cake. There is no limit to the shapes you can attempt, provided you can find or fashion the baking pan for that particular shape. Add this to your cake decorating game to enhance the creativity of your cake.
