Owned and operated by the same company that owns the Fair Oaks Theatre, Sunset Drive-In offers moviegoers an element of nostalgia. The audio comes through a designated station on your FM dial, and the drive-in shows a double-feature for the price of one. As of 2011, general admission is $7 for adults and $2 for seniors and children.

Located 12 miles from Grover Beach, The Palm Theatre is an independently owned movie theater. According to their website, it is America's first solar-powered movie theater. The Palm features a variety of films including Hollywood blockbusters, independent movies and foreign films. As of January 2011, general admission for a matinee is $6, while evening shows cost $8 for adults. All seats are $5 for any show on Mondays.
