  1. Job Description

    • A community college professor teaches at a junior or two-year college. Like other college professors, they specialize in a particular subject. Community colleges employ two types of faculty: full-time professors (who may be tenured) and part-time associate professors. Associate professors might only teach two or three classes a term while full-time professors might teach an average of four or five classes per term.
