The University of Oregon, located in Eugene, boasted an enrollment of more than 23,000 in fall 2010. The university welcomes both undergraduate and graduate students, who study in a range of programs. Popular majors for undergraduates include anthropology, environmental science, human physiology and journalism. The average class size is 21 students, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 20-to-1.
