Each week in the summer, Carden School of Sacramento offers a different theme for its day camp. It offers programs for children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, and campers can choose the weeks they attend. Lessons center around sports, science, cooking and engineering, among other options. One week's theme deals with survival techniques.

Busy Bees Studio offers an eclectic mix of language, music and movement classes. It's run by a certified teacher and a native Spanish speaker with a long history of teaching. The studio has two locations in Sacramento: at the Learning Exchange, 1111 Howe Ave., and at Swanston Community Center in the Mission Oaks District.
