Club Scientific Dallas

Club Scientific, located in Dallas, offers a full week of camp activities each summer. Camp hours run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the option of a half-day experience which ends at 1 p.m. The camp is run by experienced science instructors, all with Masters degrees, along with science students. Each day features two lab activities, snacks and outdoor learning. Club Scientific offers camping opportunities for children from ages 4 to 13, and children are grouped with others of like ages. Every child is also issued a t-shirt, which they must wear during camp hours.
KinderCare Learning Center Summer Camp

KinderCare is a national summer camp program for children of preschool or pre-kindergarten age. The themes and activities of each camp have been constructed based on the requests of over 3,000 surveyed children. Dallas offers a KinderCare day camp location. Choose from many fun-filled themes, like "Wild, Wild West," "Gross and Gooey Science" or "Dig Ancient Egypt." Your children will have the chance to learn about their theme using hands-on activities, songs and dances. They may even learn useful skills like how to read a compass or write a script.

Camp Jam Dallas

Camp Jam is a Dallas day camp opportunity for kids from ages 7 to 17. The camp is music-focused, and will teach your young musician the techniques and skills necessary to play in his own rock band. Camp Jam's instructors are all professional musicians. During the afternoons, kids can rehearse on a real stage to prepare for the big concert held at the end of camp week. This camp climax allows your child to play her instrument in front of a crowd.
High Country Stables

Spend your days learning to ride and groom a horse at High Country Stables in Dallas. Here, your child can participate in trail rides, scavenger hunts and other activities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for one week. Children can choose to learn to ride in the English or Western style, and they are grouped according to skill level. The first day of camp includes instruction on grooming and tacking the horse; kids then move on to trail riding, vaulting and showmanship. The camp provides snacks and refreshments for each rider.
