Ideas for Snacks for a Disney Princesses Sleepover
Many little girls adore two things above all else: spending time with their girlfriends and pretending to be a Disney Princess, such as Jasmine, Belle or Cinderella. Hosting a Disney princess-themed party cannot be complete without an array of snacks that will keep the children satisfied and ready to play into the night.

Snow White and the Seven Pizza Toppings
-
The majority of kids love pizza, but the biggest issue is giving each girl a pizza with toppings she will enjoy. Use "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" as inspiration by giving the children seven toppings for their pizza. Choose popular toppings, such as pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red peppers, mushrooms, olives and different types of cheeses. Help each of the girls shape her pizza dough into a princess movie-related shape, such as Snow White's apple, a crown or a glass slipper. Top each of the pizzas with the girl's chosen topping and cook each according to the dough's directions.
Princess Tiana's Cajun Treats
-
The movie "The Princess and the Frog" is set in New Orleans, where Cajun food rules. Introduce the girls to a different culture by offering them a Cajun treat: beignets. Beignets are similar to doughnuts because they are pieces of fried dough; recipes can be found online. The desserts can be covered in a variety of toppings, from traditional powdered sugar to chopped fruits, jams and maple syrup. Serve the beignets slightly warm.

Belle's Rose Cupcakes
-
A central item in the movie "Beauty and the Beast" is the rose, which is given to the Beast in the beginning of the film. Use this theme to teach the girls a basic cake decorating technique: constructing a rose made from frosting. Make several cupcakes from boxed cake mixes according to the package directions and teach the girls how to create roses, either yourself or with the help of a friend or family member adept in the art of baking and decorating. Once the roses are completed, give the girls each a cupcake and other decorations, such as sprinkles or gel icing, and allow each to make her own rose-topped treat.
Princess Tea and Sandwiches
-
Tea and sandwiches is a classic princess party food. Make Disney-themed by purchasing disposable Disney plates and napkins at department or party supply stores. Ask each of the children and their parents about any favorite sandwich toppings, or food allergies, before the party. On the night of the party, serve the girls sandwiches made from different types of bread, and tea in disposable Princess cups. If the girls do not want tea, serve a pink beverage such as milk with red food coloring or pink grapefruit juice.
