The inner arms can be an ideal space for six-shooter tattoos. Though the most common symbol for violence can often be a gun, if done correctly, it can also be a symbol for peace. To get this effect, you really only need to tattoo the gun without its trigger and have either a single or several flowers blooming through the barrel. It is a way of turning a violent image into a peaceful one and can be an interesting idea if your personality suits its message.

Through the centuries, different cultures and nations have had styles of pistols unique unto themselves. Most countries had their own weapons manufacturers in case of war or foreign invasion, so by following the paths of your lineage you can determine which style guns protected or may have been used by your ancestors. Having your ancestral gun tattooed does not necessarily give a violent message, it can simply be a way of honoring your heritage.
