Because "Hidden Expedition Devil's Triangle" does not punish you for trying different techniques on puzzles, you can exploit the game by clicking all over the screen. This works best on the "Hidden Object" puzzles in which you are given a list of items to locate on the scene. Point your mouse on the top left corner of the game screen and just click constantly across the screen, moving down at the end and doubling back. Any item you click that you need to find will be removed from the list and you can get through the entire puzzle without actually needing to pay attention to the details in the scene. This also works with your inventory. Click one item and then click on every other item in your inventory. If the two items fit together, they will combine; if not, keep clicking.

You do not actually have to play through every level in the game. Whenever you become stuck, simply click on "Hint" located on the bottom right of the game screen and the game will begin to solve the puzzle for you. Click a few times and some puzzles and any mini-game will be solved and you will move on. You are not penalized for using hints so use them to speed through any puzzle types you do not want to deal with, such as the "Sonar" puzzles or the "Hidden Object" puzzles. After you click the "Hint" button, you will have to wait for the blue meter next to it to refill before clicking again.

The Logbook

Part of the game involves trying to figure out what needs to be accomplished on each puzzle screen with instructions not readily available. Rather than trying to find out if you need to be clicking on people to interview or finding items for your inventory, you can get a complete list of your objectives by clicking "Logbook" on the bottom left of the game screen, then clicking the "Objectives" tab on the middle of the left side of the book. Every task you need to complete on the current game screen will be listed, so you can always know when to move on and when to keep hunting.
Final Puzzle Solution

The final puzzle in the game involves clicking five buttons on a tram to supply enough power to escape the island. Each button gives a set amount of power and you must click them in a set order to succeed. In order to solve this puzzle, click the bottom button, the middle button and then the top button. The tram will gain power and you will have completed the final puzzle.
