Churches or Organizations That Support Missionary Work
The earliest Christian mission work occurred shortly after the death of Jesus. Mission work continues today through churches and individuals supporting various mission organizations. The main objective of these organizations is to share the teachings of the Bible, but often the mission work is providing secondary resources such as water or medical help.

Bible Translation

Wycliffe's mission is for the Bible to be translated for people of all nations. Wycliffe was founded in 1942 and has helped translate the Bible into over 700 languages. Their mission is clear, translate the Bible into a person's native tongue so he can read the scriptures. Wycliffe is supported by numerous denominations such as Baptist churches, Presbyterian churches, Evangelical Free denomination and more.
Providing School Opportunities

Worldwide Christian Schools desire that all children would have access to a Christian education. In 1986, the founders were shocked to see the conditions of schools in India. Today the organization is working in 44 countries building schools and sharing Christ with students; and partners with Christian reformed, Catholic, Methodist, Baptist denominations.

Humanitarian Work

Living Water International partners with some of poorest nations to provide clean water. After drilling for water, LWI works to train and equip the local leaders to maintain safe water habits. LWI has worked in 26 countries, with over 100 churches, to provide water and share the gospel.
Medical Assistance

Medical Teams International provides medical supplies, mobile dental clinics and medical services to 28 countries. Medical Teams International will also go to areas of disaster to provide emergency medical care. The organization has been serving people all over the world since 1979 and is supported by a variety of church denominations.
