The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on Lyon Street is an historic landmark facility. Major restoration took seven years and the Palace was reopened in January 2011. It is one of 10 palaces built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. It is a Roman and Greek domed rotunda with more than 30 columns surrounded by a lagoon.
