Free Artillery Games
Artillery games are one of the oldest known types of computer games, and they usually involve tanks shooting at enemy stations or other enemy tanks. The majority of the game's strategy involves calculating the angle and velocity of your gun before firing a bomb. Through trial and error (and sometimes luck), you make the right calculation and destroy your enemy. Though artillery game graphics have evolved over the years, the basic concept still remains the same.

NLOS Cannon Challenge
-
This free artillery game offered by the Discovery Channel has all the classic components of an artillery game, but with updated graphics. Your tank's gun height and velocity can be adjusted so you can get the right arc on your shot. Destroy all your enemy's communication towers within 15 shots and you advance to the next level.
Artillery Live by Kongregate
-
At Kongregate.com, you can play an artillery game in two modes: single player or live multiplayer. Both modes look the same, but in live multiplayer mode, you're actually aiming to kill tanks that belong to other people online. There's also a twist to Kongregate's version of Artillery, which is wind factor. After each round, the wind direction and speed will change, forcing you to alter your aim. Although the graphics aren't as good as NLOS Cannon Challenge, the live multiplayer feature and chat functions make it worth checking out.
