Both cities have mega bar complexes, which feature multiple dance floors and performances areas. The Bar Complex is the longest-operating gay club in Lexington, first opened in the 1980s. It is the largest gay club in the city as well with 18,000 square feet. The club includes a massive dance floor, a showroom with DJs and drag shows and a lounge. The Bar Complex also features a Gilded Cage Cabaret, which performs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Tryangles has a tavern-style atmosphere. This bar has billiards tables and weekly events such as male stripteases, karaoke nights and movie nights. Tryangles never has a cover charge and has happy hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

The Connection Complex

The Connection Complex, or simply "The Connection," is a mega bar complex in Louisville. The Connection has a video bar, shower bar and leather bar. It also features a drag theater ("LaBoy LaFemme") and an amateur drag show. In addition, The Connection has male dancers a few nights each week and many weekly contests.
