Located 15 minutes outside of Salt lake City, Layton offers a number of bars that feature food and a full range of drinks, even for a small community. Whether you are looking for a local micro-brewery, or just a place to go out with friends, choose from one of Layton's several bars, pubs and saloons.

  1. Roosters

    • Roosters is a brewing company and restaurant located in Layton. Recently opened in 2005, it is the only microbrewery in Layton's Davis County. Not only does it serve its own brew, it also offers full liquor service and a food menu. Try one of Rooster's beers ranging from the "Bee's Knees Honey Wheat," an unfiltered wheat beer with a dash of honey, to the "Junction City Chocolate Stout," which boasts a rich roasted mocha flavor. Open seven days a week with dinner starting at 4 p.m., enjoy a local beer or mixed drink with your meal.

    Goodtimes Saloon

    • The Goodtimes Saloon is a smaller bar in Layton. The bar serves a number of different beers and cocktails, currently featuring Evolution Beer and Shock Top. The saloon is also known for serving a local herbal liquor called "Underground" whose flavor is compared to that of Jagermeister. Weekly events include pool tournaments, karaoke and Wii night. The Goodtimes Saloon is a place to enjoy regional drinks and a local atmosphere.

    Chili's Grill and Bar

    • Chili's, a restaurant chain across the United States, is also a bar in Layton. The Chili's bar serves classic beers such as Bud, Coors, Corona and Samuel Adams, but is also known for serving local brews as well. The bar provides a wide array of other alcohol offerings as well, ranging from margaritas to white and red wines. Since Chilli's is a restaurant as well a bar, you may bring the family and enjoy a drink at your table.

    Linda Lou's Time for Two

    • This smaller bar hosts between 75 to 90 patrons during the average weekend evening. Linda Lou's offers a full bar including beer and wine. Traditional bar entertainment, such as pool tables and dartboards, can be enjoyed nightly.
