Montezuma Creek, Utah, is a small community with a population of 500 people located southwest of Farmington, Utah. Also known as "Mossi," the community sits on the San Juan River in the most northern part of the Navajo Nation. It's near Hovenweep National Monument and McElmo Canyon. Although there are no hotels in Montezuma Creek, there are hotels nearby.

  1. Desert Rose Inn

    • The Desert Rose Inn is located just seven miles from Montezuma Creek. You can find the wood-style building built with massive timbers at the west entrance to Bluff, Utah. There are private cabins available on the grounds, but the inn itself has rooms with two king beds or one queen bed. Each of these room types has a coffee maker, phone, free high-speed Internet access, cable television with satellite and a wrap-around porch with redwood chairs.

    Recapture Lodge

    • You can also find the Recapture Lodge in Bluff, Utah, a hotel that was built more than 50 years ago. There is an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub on the lodge's grounds and a shady picnic area. If you'd like to get away from the hotel, you can take one of the walking or mountain bike trails that lead you from Recapture Lodge to the San Juan River. The rooms at the lodge sleep up to four people, and some come with kitchenettes that have a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker and utensils.

    Super 8 Blanding

    • The next closest hotel to Montezuma Creek is the Super 8 in Blanding, a small community about 20 miles from Montezuma Creek. This hotel is a smoke-free facility that has high-speed Internet access, television with cable and HBO, queen- or king-size bed and an alarm clock in every room. There is an indoor Jacuzzi that you can share with fellow travelers at the hotel and parking for RVs and large trucks. Canyonlands National Park is only 40 miles from the hotel, and Natural Bridges National Monument is only 45 miles away.

    Comfort Inn Blanding

    • The fourth closest hotel to Montezuma Creek is the Comfort Inn, also in Blanding and also about 20 miles away. The College of Eastern Utah--San Juan Campus is located beside the hotel and Cedar Mesa Pottery is found near it. Each person who stays at the hotel can enjoy a free breakfast--which includes waffles--a free newspaper everyday and free coffee in the lobby. There is an exercise room, sun deck, indoor heated pool and indoor hot tub available for all guests, and in all of the rooms there is Internet access and cable television; in some rooms there are refrigerators, microwaves, whirlpool bathtubs and kitchenettes.
