Walmart Scholarships for High School Seniors


Walmart offers a range of philanthropic measures, including college scholarships. It offers scholarships for employees and the dependents of employees. All scholarship programs are subject to a set of minimum employment and academic criteria.

The Walmart Associate Scholarship

  • Formally known as the Higher Reach Scholarship, this scholarship is available to Walmart employees. Applicants must have been employed with any division of Walmart for at least six months on a part-time of full-time basis. All applicants must have either completed a high school education or have obtained a GED. Any degree level is eligible for the award. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The Walmart Dependent Scholarship

  • This scholarship is available to dependents of Walmart employees. Like the Walmart Associate Scholarship, Walmart employees must have been employed with any division of Walmart for at least six months before the dependent's application, however dependents of officers (vice president and above) or members of the board of directors are ineligible. Dependents must be either a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States and be able to demonstrate financial need.
