SmartBoards can also be used for training and professional development.

Offered in six different versions, SmartBoards came out in 1991. The boards use digital technology instead of markers to illustrate on the board. They resemble old white boards. They are used now in school because they help teachers bring more collaboration and interactivity into the classroom. The boards use a projector that displays a computer's video output, thus allowing teachers to access interactive, fun and educational online games.
