Known as San Jose's "leather and Levi" bar, the Renegade attracts a diverse crowd. One of its most popular events is the Butch Bear Party which occurs during the first Sunday of every month from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. While everyone is welcome, the event draws a large leather and biker crowd. The bar offers a beer bust during the event. Apart from special events, Renegade also has pool, darts, video game machines and pinball for its patrons. A back patio is available for those who smoke. Renegade often hosts charity events that benefit such causes as the San Jose Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center. The Bar is open from noon until 2 a.m. every day.
Turf Club

The Turf Club is known as both a country-western and a leather and Levi gay bar. Located in the city of Hayward, the bar has hosted various events such as Mr. and Ms. Alameda County Leather Contest. The relaxed and casual atmosphere makes the bar an ideal meeting place. Many patrons visit to watch sporting events on the large screen televisions. Drink specials include a "2fer" offer, in which you buy one drink and receive the second one free every day from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The bar also offers free wifi and a smoking patio. A local DJ performs at 9 p.m. from Thursday through Sunday.

Located in the city of Mountain View, King of Clubs is a gay bar with various theme nights. Sundays and Mondays feature karaoke from 8 p.m. until close, and have no cover charge. Tuesday is a Gothic-themed night, and is popular for dancing. Fridays and Saturdays are known for dancing and Latin music. Fridays feature cumbia, coridos and nortena music, while Saturdays include three DJs who play rock en español, salsa and hip-hop from 9:30 p.m. until closing time. The bar is open to those 21 years and over.
Brix Nightclub

Brix Nightclub is located in San Jose, and offers different drink specials and attractions throughout the week. Mondays offer $1 well drinks from 10 p.m. until 11 p.m. Tuesdays feature Karaoke with specials on Bud Light draft beer. Thursdays are known as Therapy Thursdays and include go-go dancers and DJs. Drink specials for the evening include $5 Captain Morgan or cosmopolitans, and $6 Jack Daniels drinks. Finally, for those interested in watching a drag performance, Fridays offer drag shows and dancing throughout the night.
