Haunted Houses in Seattle, WA
Seattle is a large city located in King County, Washington. Visitors to the area can take in commonly known sights like Mount Ranier and the Space needle, but individuals who are looking for some unusual locations might want to tour some of the haunted locations thought to be located throughout the town. In addition to haunted houses, there are several other destinations where visitors can experience paranormal activity. Take note: many of the locations are often found on private and do not allow random visitors on the premises without permission. This is especially true of private residences and cemeteries.

Haunted Houses and Hotels

Andrew's Rainbow house, located on 46th Avenue, is one haunted residence located in the city. Ghosts are not commonly seen, but the home's exterior is supposed to turn to rainbow colors no matter what color it is painted with. There is also a tile on the roof that is marked with an "A" and may represent the young man who lost his life at the hands of his own father.
Hotel Andra, on 4th Avenue, has reports of a female apparition appearing to guests, as well as items being thrown about.
School Hauntings

Hamilton Middle School, on Interlake Avenue North, has reports of ghosts appearing in a bathroom which also has a door that opens and closes on its own.
Students walking the halls of Nathan Hale High School, located on 30th Avenue, have reported hearing unexplained noises and feel fearful when walking through the area where the noises occur.
Seattle Central College, on East Pine St., has a variety of paranormal activity including people hearing foot steps and other unexplained noises, trash cans that are turned over by unseen hands and lights randomly turning on and off. There is also a report of a female student being pushed by an unseen force.

Haunted Businesses

Some of the most famous haunted locations in Seattle are businesses. Pike Place Market, on the waterfront, is a local landmark known for its paranormal activity. Shoppers and employees have reported many strange occurrences, as well as apparitions. The ghost of a child is supposed to haunt the Bead Emporium and a large woman still haunts the balcony where she died. There are lights that turn themselves on as do alarms. The old Wells Fargo Bank, on 4th Avenue, has reports of an eyeless shadow figure walking about.
Cemetery and Church Hauntings

It seems that not all of the dead residents of Seattle are at rest.
There is an unknown presence that haunts the Capitol Hill Methodist Church, located in Sewerd Square SE.
Central Baptist Church, in the Georgetown region of Seattle on S. Bailey Street, has doors that slam shut and the apparition of an elderly man walking around. The presence is supposedly demonic in nature.
