La Huasteca
-
Open since February 26, 2004, La Huasteca serves authentic fresh Mexican food, thanks to Master Chef Alfonso Ramirez and Executive Chef Martin Garcia. The recipes are inspired by the La Huasteca region of Mexico which is made up of countrysides, waterfalls and exquisite natural landscapes. The menu includes an array of drinks, light healthy soups, fresh salads and main courses, such as Enchiladas Mestizas that are served with a side of rice and beans. Vegetarian options are available, as well as seafood dishes, such as Grilled Shrimp with Spicy Habanero Sauce.
The space is filled with handcrafted furniture, Mexican artifacts and hand painted murals by Beningno Magana and Camilo Ramirez, two artists known for their authentic paintings of La Huasteca. The rich earthy colors and natural elements used in the decor are successful at creating a warm and cozy space for a romantic dinner while the spacious rooms allow just enough breathing room for larger parties which their banquet rooms can accommodate with no problem.
The restaurant also hosts special events where live music and entertainment are featured. Online reservations are available via their website from Monday to Thursday. Weekend reservations must be called in directly.
