Hallmark Star Trek Ornament Checklist
Hallmark released its first Star Trek ornament in 1991 and has released from one to five Star Trek ornaments each year since then. Most of the ornaments have light and/or sound effects and a few are blown glass. Some of the older ornaments are now hard to find. Prices ranged from around $10 to $250 in early 2011. In 2010 Hallmark introduced the Star Trek Legends series with characters from the original TV series in the 1960s. Does this Spark an idea?

1991 to 1995

In 1991 the first Star Trek ornament was the Starship Enterprise, and Hallmark released only a limited quantity. The 1992 release of the Shuttlecraft Galileo featured the voice of the character Spock. The Next Generation USS Enterprise with blinking lights in 1993 was followed by the Klingon Bird of Prey vessel in 1994. Captain Kirk, Captain Jean Luc Picard, Romulan Warbird and Ships of Star Trek, which has three miniature ships, all came out in 1995, which was the first year that Hallmark released more then one Star Trek ornament.
1996 to 2000

In 1996 Hallmark released four ornaments again, with Commander Riker, Mr. Spock, USS Voyager and the 30-year anniversary diecast. Commander Data, Dr. McCoy and the USS Defiant came out in 1997 followed by Captain Janeway and the First Contact vessel in 1998. In 1999, Hallmark released Lt. Commander Worf, the USS Rio Grande, the Century Stamp and the first blown glass ornament of the USS Enterprise. In 2000 Hallmark chose the Borg Cube, Seven of Nine and a blown glass Commander Worf as ornaments.

2001 to 2005

Four ornaments appeared in 2001 with Captain Sisko, Space Station, Starfleet Legends miniatures and a blown glass Q. In 2002 Hallmark released the USS Enterprise, the Doctor and a Delta Flyer. Captain Archer, Scorpion and Subcommander T Pol came out in 2003. The four new ornaments in 2004 were City on the Edge, Commander Tucker, Star Trek miniature insignias and the Vulcan Commander Ship. The 2005 Hallmark releases were Khan, Locutus of Borg and the lighted USS Enterprise.
2006 to 2010

The Transporter Chamber and the USS Enterprise came out in 2006, then Lieutenant Uhura, Wrath of Khan and Future USS Enterprise came out in 2007. In 2008 Hallmark released the Star Trek Communicator, Trouble With Tribbles and the USS Reliant. A record five ornaments appeared in 2009 with Lieutenant Ilia, Klingon Battle Cruiser, The Menagerie, Starfleet Phaser and a limited edition of Lieutenant Uhura. In 2010 Hallmark released Amok Time and the USS Enterprise, plus the first ornament of Captain Kirk in the Star Trek Legends series. Legends figures are larger and more detailed than the previous Hallmark Keepsake ornaments.
