Soup Games

Soup consumption does not play a role for players in soup games.

The Soup Nazi on NBC's "Seinfeld" famously scolded customers by telling them, "No soup for you!" Offering countless varieties for fans to enjoy, soup has prospered as one of culture's most popular meal options. Soup enthusiasts can enhance their soup love by playing games instructing them how to make various soups, and testing their speed and efficiency in serving customers.

Campbell's ABC Soup Game

Players spell out words with alphabet noodle tokens in Fisher-Price's/Mattel's "Campbell's ABC Soup Game," recommended for ages 3 and up. After choosing to play with the three-letter or four-letter-word bowls, players choose a token and match it to their word if, after spinning the spinner, the spinner points to a space that includes a letter that players need to fill their bowl. If the spinner points to a space showing all the letters, players select any one token and match it to a letter in their bowl. If the spinner points to a space that has no letter that players need, the next player spins. The first player to fill her bowl by matching all of the alphabet noodle tokens wins.

Cooking Show Games

With the clock ticking, players race to make soup in "Cooking Show: Chicken Noodle Soup" and "Cooking Show: Carrot & Lentil Soup," both accessible at sites like Games2Girls. Following the directions on the screen, players trace the flashing arrows to perform steps in the soup making process. Players score bonus points for completing tasks in speedy fashion and adding ingredients to the pot in the correct order.

Sally's Soup Shop

Players make and sell three different soups in "Sally's Soup Shop," accessible at sites like Games2Girls. Following the instructions on the screen, players click on tools and ingredients, and then click on the flashing red rings that indicate where to put the items. When selling the soup, players fill a cup or bowl with the soup that customers request, put the soup and a spoon in a bag, and present the order to the customer. Customers leave without paying if players give them the wrong soup.

There's A Fly In My Soup

Players flick flies into opponent's soup in Basic Concepts' "There's a Fly in My Soup," recommended for ages 3 and up. As players successfully flick flies into an opponent's soup, they mark off the opponent name on their game card. If players successfully flick their flies into the Crazy Chef's soup, they earn a bonus. The first player to fill in his whole game card, by flicking flies into all other players' soup, wins.

World Class Chef Games

Chef Pinky teaches players soup recipes in "World Class Chef" games, accessible at sites like Games2Girls. "World Class Chef" soup games include "Holland" (pea soup), "France" (tomato soup), "Germany" (potato soup) and "Portugal" (carrot soup). Following the directions on the screen, players use their mouse to click on ingredients and tools; flashing red strings indicate where to place the items.
