Nakhon Ratchasima, also known as Korat, is the largest northeastern province of Thailand. The province's capital of the same name has a population of nearly 150,000 natives, making it the cultural hub of its province as well. The city has several large-scale hotels that travelers can find within the city limits with many options to chose from.

The Rachaphruk Grand Hotel is located in the center of the city on Mittrapab Road. The Rachaphruk offers many sizes of rooms, all of which are in a comfortable setting and within walking distance to many of Korat's finest establishments. It also contains several in-house restaurants such as a cozy coffee bar, a small Chinese restaurant and a disco dance club. The Rachaphruk is often considered one of the finer hotels in Korat.

The Korat Resort Hotel, though not in the center of the city, is a five-star establishment outside the city in a peaceful country atmosphere. Surrounded by lakes, creeks and exotic nature, the Korat Resort Hotel is a fantastic vacation getaway. The Korat Resort is about 20 km outside of the city's center, so getting into the city may be a bit frustrating.

The Sima Thani Hotel is located in the northern edge of the Muang District in Korat. It is a huge monstrosity of a hotel with hundreds of rooms and many attractions to keep guests entertained in house. It also has the same five-star quality found in other hotels nearby. Sima Thani is located in a cultural hub of the city with many opportunities for shopping and clubbing nearby.
The Chayada Garden House and Resort

A smaller resort found on the southern edge of the city limits, the Chayada offers private houses for rent. The resort offers 24-hour transportation, Internet and food for a relatively low price. The provided transportation helps with the longer commute to the city. However, the staff at the Chayada are natives to the area and speak limited English.
