Texas Preservation Trust Fund Grants

The Texas Preservation Trust Fund provides grants that will pay for up to one-half of the project costs. Eligible projects include commercial buildings, historic structures such as bridges and public buildings like schools and libraries. It also covers archeological surveys, plus the education and training of individuals and organizations in preservation techniques and resources.
Certified Local Government Grants

Money from Certified Local Government grants can be used for the preparation of preservation plans and the completion or updating of surveys of historic resources. These grants require support from the local community as an in-kind service or cash match.

Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program

Established in June 1999, the Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program will provide partial matching funds to any Texas county to restore its historic county courthouse.
