Missouri requires a high school education for pharmacy technicians working in the state. The candidate may have a GED as well as a high school diploma to apply for registration with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy. Background Check

All candidates for registration in Missouri are subject to a criminal background check. The state may disqualify a candidate from registering as a pharmacy technician in the state if any of the information on the application is false. The state board of pharmacy can suspend the registration of those who have not paid Missouri state taxes as well. Applicants must submit court documents of any criminal cases in the past, which show the date of the arrest, law violated and the result of the case.
Certification and Renewal
