Investment analysts, also called financial analysts, examine the performance of stocks, bonds and other investment interests to either devise investment strategies for their clients, or choose profitable investments for their organizations to sell to others. A bachelor's degree is the minimum educational requirement, though many companies prefer those with a master's degree in finance or a Master of Business Administration.

The concentration of 4.52 analysts per thousand workers is close to that of Delaware.
