The 2SS and the 1SS are two of the five potential trim packages on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. SS stands for "Super Sport." The 2SS has an MSRP of $33,342 and the 1SS has an MSRP of $30,730. Both models have an estimated 16 city and 24 highway miles per gallon. They also both come with a 36 month, 36,000 mile warranty. There are not many differences between the two model, however, the 2SS has more features and options.

  1. Mechanical

    • The 2SS has an optional remote vehicle starting system while the 1SS does not.

    Exterior

    • The 2SS has standard heated door mirrors and auto dimming driver's side mirrors. It also comes with a voltage gauge. The 2SS as a rearview mirror with auto-dimming and auto day/night features while the 1SS has just the day/night feature.

    Interior

    • The 2SS comes with a cargo net and oil pressure gauge and the 1SS does not.

    Comfort

    • The 2SS has heated front seats, driver and front passenger heated-cushions and heated-seatbacks. The 1SS does not have these features.

    Convenience

    • The 2SS has a programmable garage door opener and air compressor, along with parking assist. It comes standard with "OnStar Directions & Connections," while the 1SS only comes with "OnStar Safe & Sound."

    Entertainment

    • The 2SS has steering wheel audio controls along with a nine-speaker Boston Acoustics stereo that is Bluetooth compatible. The 1SS has a six-speaker stereo.
