Easy-Off oven cleaners remove grease and debris with little or no scrubbing.

Gone are the days of spending hours on your hands and knees to clean a dirty oven. Easy-Off Fume-Free oven cleaner works quickly to break down grease and debris, without fumes or a lot of scrubbing. Read the package label carefully and follow all directions. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Time Frame

    • Spray Easy-Off Fume-Free oven cleaner to thoroughly coat the interior walls of the oven and leave it on for two hours, or longer if the oven is heavily soiled. Wipe the oven clean with a damp cloth or paper towels.

    Types

    • Easy-Off oven cleaner is safe to use on gas, electric and self-cleaning ovens. Use the product to clean barbecue grills, stainless steel surfaces and broilers, as well.

    Considerations

    • Do not heat the oven or turn on the self-cleaning oven cycle when using Easy-Off oven cleaner. Spray the cleaner in a cold oven and close the door. The cleaner emits no fumes during the cleaning process, but has a lemon scent. When you first turn the oven on to bake after cleaning it, you may notice some smoke and steam.

    Solutions

    • Allow the oven to heat for 20 minutes before using it to burn off steam from any remaining cleaner. Run fans and open a window to ventilate the kitchen. Remove pets, especially birds, from the area, because the steam may be irritating or even toxic to them.
