The Dow Chemical Premier Scholarship Program awards $3,000 scholarships plus summer work to minority students majoring in chemical engineer. The student must be an undergraduate with a 2.7 GPA and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The deadline for the scholarship application is April 30.

Dow Corning Corporation Minority Scholarship

Dow Corning Corporation Minority Scholarship awards $3,000 a year plus a summer job to high school seniors, who are interested in majoring in chemical engineering. The student must be in the upper tier of his class, have a good academic record and display leadership skills. The scholarship is for minority students only who are US citizens. The deadline is December each year.

Dow Chemical Company-PFLAG Scholarship for Science/Engineering

The Dow Chemical Company-PFLAG Scholarship for Science/Engineering is awarded to high school seniors interested in perusing a science or engineering degree. Scholarships are $2,500. Students must have applied to an accredited higher education institution. Although the student is not required to be lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, they do need to show interest in service to the LGBT community. The application deadline is April 15.
