Busch Wildlife Sanctuary

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the heart of Jupiter, Florida, is a nature and wildlife rehabilitation center showcasing native species. Several easy trails meander through the park and afford visitors the opportunity to view and learn about native wildlife rehabilitation. Bobcats, Florida panthers, tortoises, crocodiles, alligators, hawks, snakes, lizards and a host of other native Florida species call the sanctuary home while they are rehabilitated for release back into the wild. Volunteer docents roam the park giving informational lectures and daily wildlife shows captivate visitors. Admission is free; however, donations to the sanctuary are accepted. On-site picnic tables and shaded areas encourage guests to pack a lunch for an inexpensive family outing. The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
DuBois Park

The recently renovated DuBois Park is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike who are drawn to its clear, calm water and spectacular sunsets. Particularly popular among families with small children for its shallow, protected lagoon, DuBois Park offers lots to see and do. Snorkeling, tide pools, fishing, boat watching and playground all provide a full day's entertainment for the entire family. Grills and shaded picnic areas as well as ample parking and bathrooms are available to visitors. There is also a covered picnic pavilion for rent for large gatherings. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset daily. Starting Memorial Day and running until August, lifeguards are available from 9:00 a.m. until 5:20 p.m. At other times of the year, swimming is guarded on weekends only.

South Jupiter Community Park Skate Park

Bikers and skaters alike flock to the Jupiter skate park located in the South Jupiter Community Center. Built in 2003, this skate park also features two roller hockey rinks, handball courts and playground. The skate park is divided into areas for beginner as well as advanced skaters. The gem of this 12-acre sports complex is a 9-foot-deep concrete bowl that challenges even the most advanced skaters. Parents can stay to watch their children skate or drop older children off for a few hours of shredding.
Cheeseburgers and More

While Cheeseburgers and More is known for their hamburgers, locals know it as a great place to bring the kids. Adults enjoy the full bar and extensive burger menu while kids entertain themselves in the facility's 7000-sq.-ft. game room complete with arcade, slide, air hockey tables and a maze. The decor is eclectic with hundreds of model airplanes, helicopters, cars and mini bikes situated throughout the restaurant. Monday night is kids night where kids play in the maze for free and on Friday and Saturday nights, a live DJ is present for a kids dance contest. Located in the Winn-Dixie Plaza, Cheeseburgers and More offers birthday party packages and fun for the whole family.
