Direct TV's "NFL to Go" Is Not Working on My PC
The DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket To-Go is a software application that allows subscribers to watch any NFL game on their PC or mobile device, including the Android phone. When you use the PC version of the software, several problems can occur that prevent it from working properly. Work through these problems step by step to figure out the issue and get the games running smoothly.

Computer Requirements
-
On a PC, you need to have Windows 2000, XP or Vista. As of November 2011, DirecTV does not currently list Windows 7 as compatible, but users have accessed the software through that operating system. If your PC runs on Linux or another operating system, it will not run the NFL To-Go. The PC should have at least 1 gigabyte of memory RAM, but 2GB or more will increase the performance. If your computer does not have these settings, the NFL To-Go software will not work properly or run slow.
Computer Operations
-
The NFL To-Go application uses a lot of memory and computer resources. Exit out of all other running Web pages and applications to allow the application to operate. If your computer has been running for more than 10 hours, give it a quick restart to clear the virtual memory and exit out of any background processes that could cause the software to not operate. This includes any downloading service that could be taking up the Internet bandwidth.
-
Internet Connection
-
A direct connection to the Internet will provide a stable connection. A wireless connection could cause interference and delay with the live video. Staying on a wired connection will constantly download data from the games and stream them to your PC. Disconnect any other computers on your network that could be using up Internet bandwidth. If you are not using a DSL or another high-speed form of internet, the NFL games may only come in as audio with a chopped up video connection.
Computer Viruses
-
If the issue continues, you could have a computer virus or malware that is preventing the NFL To-Go connection from being made. Run anitvirus software, use a different Internet browser and attempt to use a whole different computer if possible. The issue is almost never with the DirecTV connection and trying another computer is the easiest way to figure out if that is the main issue.
