MediaMonkey Won't Sync
MediaMonkey is a music management tool able to sync with a variety of portable players. If you are experiencing problems getting your device to sync correctly, there are a number of troubleshooting steps to work through. You'll need to check if your device is compatible, check the settings within MediaMonkey, and check the status of the device itself.

Check for Device Compatibility

MediaMonkey is able to sync music to a wide variety of portable devices, but not every player is covered. For a list of approved compatible devices, visit the Compatible Devices page on the MediaMonkey Wiki at MediaMonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Compatible_Devices. Supported devices include the iPad and iPod from Apple, the Zen Stone from Creative, the Archos 7 and any Android-powered device such as the Galaxy Nexus from Samsung. It's also worth checking the device's connection to your PC -- if possible, use an alternative cable or USB port to rule out these factors as potential causes.
Check File Compatibility

Some file types may not be compatible with the device you are trying to synchronize them to, particularly if they are protected with Digital Rights Management (DRM) that limits which platforms they can be played on. Check the documentation supplied with your portable device to see which formats are supported. You may need to convert certain file types before they will sync, or obtain them from a different source if they have been locked with DRM by the original distributor.

Check File Location

It's possible you are attempting to sync files from your library that have since been moved and cannot be located by MediaMonkey. In other words, the reference to them in the library is a dead link. Use the "Locate Missing/Moved Files" option on the "File" menu to resolve the issue -- if you activate the folder monitoring feature when adding folders to the library, this problem shouldn't occur in the first place.
Check Device Settings

Occasionally a device may be configured in such a way that MediaMonkey is unable to sync with it, or the files that are synced are hidden. Open the "Tools" menu, then click "Options." Open up the "Portable/Audio Devices" page to see a list of installed plug-ins -- select the one relevant to your device and choose "Configure" to access the settings. If your device isn't listed, follow the download link at the bottom of the dialog.
