Can We Track Bookmarks From Google Analytics?

You also cannot determine the exact number of people who have your website bookmarked. The direct traffic number reports two variables, direct traffic and people arriving through bookmarks, but it does not distinguish between the two.

    • Google Analytics also tracks other traffic sources. You can track referrals, which includes when people find your website through another website, blog or email newsletter, social media page or profile, other than your own. It can also track visits from your own social media page or profile. You can track traffic that comes in through search engines, either organically, paid or through online campaigns you created and are tracking. There’s also a report for search engine optimization, which can help you determine your website’s position in search results when visitors use keywords to find it.
