Why Is My Picture in Dreamweaver Stuck to the Left?
If you are just starting to learn how to use Dreamweaver to create websites on your computer, you may have placed a picture that sticks on the left side of a page when you don’t want it positioned there. Dreamweaver has options that you set to adjust how images are placed on a page. The pictures will appear in the location you designate when people view your website.

Using Dreamweaver
-
Dreamweaver is an application from Adobe for making websites that appear on computers, smartphones and tablets. Dreamweaver enables you to combine headlines, text, pictures, audio and video to present information to people via the Internet. You can customize how your website will appear on multiple devices and screen sizes simultaneously as you enter text and place images.
Page Design
-
As you develop a website with Dreamweaver, you arrange images, text and other elements on the page according to your design preferences. You can place pictures on the top of the page, at the bottom, centered or on the left or right, depending on how you want your site’s visitors to see them.

Image on Left
-
When you insert a picture into a Web page with Dreamweaver, by default it sticks on the left side. For example, if you click in a text box, then click the command to insert an image, Dreamweaver places the image to the left of the text at the insertion point in the text box. Right-click the image, then click “Align” from the pop-up menu, and then click an option, such as “Right” or “Absolute Middle.”
Publishing
-
After you rearrange the placement of an image on a page in your website using Dreamweaver, save your work. No one on the Internet will see the change you made to the image’s position until you save the work and then publish the website again, overwriting the older version that has the image placed on the left.
