How to Use Xavier Henry on "NBA 2K11"
In "NBA 2K11," a basketball video game available across multiple systems, you can play as any official team in the National Basketball Association in the 2010 season, including the Memphis Grizzlies. Your roster can include Xavier Henry, drafted 12th overall in the NBA during the 2010 draft. However, he is not a starter, so you must take a few steps to allow him time to play.

Xavier Henry's Stats
-
Because "NBA 2K11" simulates real life as of 2010, you can figure out whatever you need to know about Xavier Henry by looking at his real life stats. For example, Henry was drafted to the Memphis Grizzlies in 2010 as a reserve shooting guard due to his high field-goal percentage, free-throw percentage and points per game. Defensively, though, Henry tends to fall away from the leader position, not performing well in terms of steals and blocks.
Updating the Roster
-
At the time that "NBA 2K11" was released, Xavier Henry was in the Grizzlies' reserves rather than the top 12. This means that he has no required amount of minutes to spend on the court during the game, and he does not even go to the games, so you cannot just substitute him onto the court. To remedy this, you must select "Rotations" under the "Roster" menu, select "Grizzlies" and deduct minutes from the current shooting guard, T. Allen. Add the minutes to Henry, and he becomes the starting shooting guard.

Picking Xavier Henry
-
Now that Henry has enough minutes to be a starter, you do not have to take additional action within the game; you just have to start playing. In "Quick Game" mode, move your controller to the Away or Home team, depending on which you want and change that team to the Grizzlies, Henry's team. Pressing "Start" begins the game with you as the Grizzlies, and you can start off with Henry right off the bat.
Tips on Playing
-
As a shooting guard, Henry strictly has strengths in offense as his position is meant just to score the points in the game. The point guard frequently will pass to you, and you usually can take a shot once he does. Defensively, you do not need to worry about stopping the ball from getting into the basket in general; you just need to focus on the one opponent you're guarding from scoring.
