"Need for Speed" Road Challenge Codes
Need for Speed: Road Challenge is the European and Brazilian release of Electronic Arts' Need for Speed: High Stakes. The game was released in 1999 on the PC and PlayStation. Several cheat codes are available for each version of the game, though none of the codes crossover from one platform to the next.

The PC and PlayStation versions of Need for Speed: Road Challenge have a separate list of cheat codes that cause different effects in the game. Need for Speed: Road Challenge has two methods for entering codes. The first is typing a word or series of letters for a username, which you create in the game's "Options" screen. All of these codes provide a different type of vehicle, from a police car to a helicopter. The second type of code is entered by pressing a series of buttons on the game controller. These codes change how the game plays. For example, you can enter a button combination when the game is loading that slows down all of the cars controlled by the computer.
