MegaUpload Tricks
MegaUpload is a website that allows you to upload large files, including .zip files, audio files and videos, for free. It then generates a link so other users can download those files to their computers. It also allows you to watch videos. However, MegaUpload has a time limit that only permits you to download several files within a certain time frame. Once you have gone over the time limit, it will prompt you to wait anywhere from several minutes to an hour to download another file. You can get around the limit, however, with several tricks.

Modem and Cookies

One trick to avoid MegaUpload's time limit is to clear your cookies and reconnect your modem. After you download a single file, click the "Tools" menu on your Internet browser and select "Cookies." Then select "Clear." By deleting the cookies, your Internet browser will not recognize the file you recently downloaded from MegaUpload. Then disconnect and reconnect your modem so it recognizes the cookies are cleared, and download another MegaUpload file as usual.
Refreshing the Page

One trick to bypass the MegaUpload time restriction is to simply refresh the page over and over again. Each time you refresh the page, press the download button again. The number of minutes you must wait until you can download the file will decrease slightly with each refresh until it finally reaches zero.

Link Generator

A link generator allows you to enter a link to the MegaUpload file that you wish to download but can't, due to a time restriction. After pasting the link and clicking the "Generate" button, the file you want to download will appear on the page. You can then click on the file and download it, as you would on MegaUpload's website. Link generators also allow you to watch movies on MegaUpload if you have exceeded the number of minutes you can watch at a single time.
Buffering Video

MegaUpload only allows users to watch 72 minutes of video for free at a single time. Once you have exceeded the number of minutes, you must wait up to an hour to continue watching the video. To bypass this, you can open the video, press the "Play" button so it begins to play, and then press the "Pause" button until the video has buffered fully. (The bar will turn a light gray once finished.) Then disconnect your Internet and press "Play." The video will already be loaded, and because you are not connected to the Internet, MegaUpload will not know you have gone over the minute limit.
