What Is a MioNet Transfer Window?
MioNet is a commercial application that lets you share documents, digital images and files with other Windows systems via the Internet. The application includes a secure Internet-based interface that displays on your computer’s screen as a Windows Explorer window. The Explorer window, also known as a transfer window, lets you click on one or more files on the remote computer and transfer them directly to your computer.

MioNet’s transfer window looks similar to your computer’s Windows Explorer window, so you feel like you are selecting and copying files from a folder on your computer. You can select multiple files from the remote computer by pressing and holding the “CTRL” key on your computer’s keyboard and clicking the files you want to copy to your computer. Like a Windows Explorer window, you can close MioNet’s transfer window when you are done copying files from the remote computer.
File Sharing
-
The file-sharing application is fully customizable. Users decide which files they want others to access. Others using MioNet see the same transfer window as you. Both you and others can share files from not only the computer containing the application but also any external hard drives connected the computer running MioNet.
