NAVIGON Fresh is a free online service that provides NAVIGON users with regular map updates, new features and options, and access to the Fresh shop where the device owners can purchase additional select services. NAVIGON Fresh is found on the company's website and takes only a few moments to download. After youinstall it, you must start the NAVIGON Fresh program on your PC. The NAVIGON program will notify you of any updates not yet installed and will automatically upload the updates to the GPS device. You then have the option of downloading additional maps and services. The amount of time it takes for Fresh to download depends on the amount of map or service downloads you request.

To install the Fresh program, you need a computer with Microsoft Windows XP operating system or higher, and a Pentium 3 or greater processor with a minimum 500MHz RAM. MAC users must have MAC OS X 10.5 or higher and at least 30 MB of hard disk space available. Because of the large amount of information contained in the updates, NAVIGON recommends both PC and MAC users have a high-speed Internet connection such as DSL.
