What to Do When the Microphone Sound Is Flashing on ooVoo?
When the microphone sound icon flashes in the ooVoo application, it is an indication of an issue with the device. If the icon continues to flash after checking the microphone's volume to ensure it is not muted or too low for your contact to hear you, there are other troubleshooting options.

If the microphone sound is flashing on ooVoo, check the device's connection to your computer. Ensure the microphone is securely connected and that it is set as the default device for recording. Right-click on the “Volume” icon in your taskbar and then click “Recording Devices.” Your microphone should have a green check mark next to it to indicate it is the default device. If not, right-click it and make it the default.
Restart Application
