Photography Ideas for a Bridal Shower Booth
Coming up with ideas to make a bridal shower memorable can be hard. While bridal games are entertaining, they aren't something you can necessarily remember fondly. To make a bridal shower memorable, you want activities that are memorable for everyone involved. A photo booth gives people the opportunity to be silly, take pictures and have a keepsake of such a joyous occasion.

Chalkboard and Simple Backdrop
-
Let the bridal shower attendees use their imaginations by keeping the photo booth simple. Provide a chalkboard, chalk and a plain backdrop for the girls. Let each girl write whatever she wants on the chalkboard. Have the girls pose individually for a photo. After each girl poses by herself, get together and write something on the board that has a special meaning to all of you. Squeeze into the photo booth together and take a few pictures. Encourage each girl to write down a word or draw a picture of something that symbolizes their friendship or relationship with the bride. Have each girl take a picture with her drawing or word. Make copies of the photos and give them to the bride at the end of the shower.
Silly Props
-
Photo booths are supposed to be about having a good time. Fill a box with silly props such as mustaches, hats, gloves and scarves. Let the girls use the props however they want and take pictures. Another alternative is to provide props such as gaudy bridal veils, ugly flowers and thrift store wedding dresses. Each girl can dress up and take mock wedding photos. Once every girl has a turn in front of the camera, take a group shot of everyone in their wedding attire.

Mall Photo Booth
-
Bring back the childhood feeling by recreating a mall photo booth. Mall photo booths offered plain backdrops. Certain booths offered a variety of borders to choose from. Encourage each attendee of the bridal shower to get silly with each other while taking the pictures. Have the bridal party take pictures and put text at the bottom of the photos. For example, have the mother of the bride or the group of bridesmaids take pictures and put “Mother of the Bride" or “Bridesmaids” on the photos. You can also put text such as “Number 1 Bridesmaid" or “Number 1 Bride" at the bottom of the photos.
Pin-Up Girl Photo Booth
-
Keep the lighthearted feeling of the bridal shower going with a pin-up girl photo booth. This type of booth allows each girl at the shower to look like a vintage starlet. Provide a simple backdrop such as an animal print blanket. Let each girl fix her hair in a vintage style or provide wigs for the pictures. Props can also make this photo booth a success. Provide vintage glasses and costumes for each girl to wear during the photo session. Have each girl practice a pin-up pose and take a picture.
