An One for All remote control is a universal remote that is compatible with TVs, DVD players and other similar devices. As with other universal remote controls, the One for All remote does not come programmed to control devices in your home. You must program the One for All remote to use it with a TV that you own. Entering TV brand codes into the remote's memory is not required, however, as all One for All remotes have a “code search” programming mode.

Turn the TV on.

Press the “TV” button at the top of the One for All remote once.

Hold down the “Set” button on the remote until the remote's red light blinks twice.

Enter “991” via the key pad on the remote.

Point the remote at the television. Press the “Power” or “On/Off” key on the remote. Then, press the remote's “TV” button. Continue pressing the two buttons back and forth until the TV turns off. Stop immediately once the set shuts off.

Press the “Set” button on the remote once. The red light blinks twice.

Press “Power” or “On/Off” on the remote. Repeat the process if the TV does not turn on, as the remote was not programmed properly.
