Kids looking to get involved in indoor fun and educational activities will also find plenty of options open to them in Tulare.

  1. Outdoor Play Activities

    • The Tulare Parks and Recreation Department manages facilities that cater to kids outdoor play activities. Locations that have children's playground equipment available include Bender Park, Palm Ranch Park, and Blain Park. The Rotary Skate Park at Topham Park has bowls, rails, and ramps for kids to practice their rollerblading or skateboarding skills. The Tulare Santa Fe Trail runs through rural and downtown areas of the city and provides a safe route for kids to ride their bikes.

    Indoor Play Activities

    • The Time Out Pizza and Fun Center has one of the largest indoor arcade rooms in Tulare. Kids that visit will find video games, air hockey and pinball machines to play. The Tulare MX Cycle Park provides dirt bike riding opportunities for kids. The park offers lessons for beginners and has two tracks on which children can test their riding skills.
