Hospital attendants spend a great deal of time with the patients, interacting with them as often as doctors and nurses do. This interaction includes a wide scope of responsibilities, with everything from reading to the patient to speaking with his family.
Hygiene

The hospital attendant will assist patients in personal hygiene, particularly when the patient is unable to do so for himself. This includes bathing tasks and helping with brushing teeth, combing hair, nail care and dressing.
