An eye pencil is designed to apply eyeliner to your eye. Eyeliner draws attention to your lashes to make them appear more defined and fuller. Eye liner can also add to your eyes as a whole and make them seem larger. Depending on the look you're trying to achieve, you can draw a line above the upper lash, below the lower lash or both. Eye liner comes in black, gray, brown and brighter shades like pastels. When considering eyeliner, analyze how long your makeup needs to last. If you're applying it in the morning before work or school and need it to last until the evening, use a waterproof eye pencil. It tends to last longer and won't wear off in the middle of the day. This is especially important if you have plans after school or work and don't have time to re-apply.
