A tagline is a short sentence, phrase or quote describing a user on Bebo, the social networking website. The Bebo user first creates a tagline when their profile is set up after creating a new account. Taglines are used in many social networking and popular websites, including MySpace, Amazon.com and forums.

Bebo calls itself "a worldwide social media network where friends can share their lives and explore great entertainment." Taglines also appear in the Profile section, if the Profile is made public. Friends added to Bebo can view the tagline. The tagline also appears on photo albums and the main Whiteboard on the Bebo page. Since Bebo also offers dating services, the tagline is used to identify users and add a little bit of information.
