Zombie Halloween Themes
The living dead, the undead, the walking dead, no matter what you call them zombies are a scary concept that fit perfectly with the Halloween party season. Instead of having just a Halloween zombie party, spice up the gathering by combining the zombie theme with a non-Halloween theme for a unique twist to your Halloween party. Does this Spark an idea?

Zombie Carnival
-
A fun twist to your zombie party is to add a carnival theme to the gathering. The theme is incorporated into the setup and decorating of the party location and guests can arrive dressed-up if they choose. Create booths similar to what you would see at a carnival and set them up around the location. For example, offer a zombie face painting booth where guests can be made up to look like a zombie or a get-your-picture-with-a-zombie booth. Offer the normal carnival food fair including popcorn, cotton candy and funnel cakes.
Zombie Prom
-
Inform your guests beforehand that zombified prom attire is required. Send your invites out several weeks before the party to give your guests enough time to get their outfits together. For this party theme, you will need a large open space to hold the prom at. Splatter fake blood on tablecloths and toss a few fake body parts around the room. Place a punch-filled bowl on the refreshment table and add fake eyes, hands or fingers. Provide your guests with finger foods including crackers and cheese, cookies and tea sandwiches. Keep the lights dim and play a variety of upbeat music so your zombie guests can dance.

Famous Zombies
-
Several movies feature zombies as well as a few TV shows and even a classic music video from the King of Pop. This will provide a wide array of options for your guest. Make sure to inform your guest that they must dress as a famous zombie for the party. As a courtesy, consider sending a list of suggested zombies -- such as Bub from "Day of the Dead" -- for your guests to choose from. If possible, play zombie movies with the volume turned down low on a television in the background. Zombify common party games, such as pin the pancreas on the body instead of pin the tail on the donkey.
Zombie Fairytale
-
If you want a zombie theme without having to spend too much money on special decorations, consider having a zombie fairytale theme. This theme requires your guests to dress as their favorite fairytale character -- such as Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White or the Mad Hatter -- as if they were turned into a zombie. You can keep the decorating to a minimum with a few blood splatter tablecloths and fake body parts placed around the room. Serve Halloween themed foods including cupcakes and cookies, and offer small finger sandwiches and beverages for your guests to consume.
