Take advantage of a garden full of blooms by using the fresh flowers to make crafty home decor. For a charming look, use unexpected items as vases. As a casual, country-inspired touch, fill a galvanized steel watering can with water and a handful of wildflowers, such as cornflowers, black-eyed-Susans, poppies and bluebonnets. Other creative vase ideas include vintage tea cups and teapots, Mason jars decorated with ribbons and vibrantly painted tin cans. Place the floral arrangements anywhere in your home, from the dinner table to a bedroom wall shelf.

Brighten up a door or wall with a handmade spring-inspired wreath. You can use a basic straw or polystyrene wreath base as the starting point for a variety of projects. As an inexpensive and charming idea, glue vibrant plastic eggs to the wreath base to create a charming Easter decoration. Insert realistic-looking silk flowers stems into the base to create a colorful wreath as another option. Attach vibrantly hued butterfly clips around the perimeter of a grapevine wreath for instant spring-inspired decor.

Use candy and baked goods to create sweet spring decorations. The tasty treats make ideal party decor and favors. Make a batch of vanilla cupcakes and top them with fluffy, pastel-hued frosting and candle sprinkles. Display the goodies on a tiered vintage cake stand in the center of a dessert table. Fill a clear glass vase with jelly beans or gumballs and insert faux flower stems. Create a candy topiary by attaching gumdrops to a round polystyrene ball with toothpicks. Insert one end of a wooden dowel into the bottom of the ball, and the other into a floral foam-filled flower pot.
Candles

If you're a candle lover, create a glowing, spring-inspired decor piece for your home. As a simple project, glue a lacy paper doily to the outside of a glass canning jar. Place a a pastel pink or yellow candle into the jar to complete the craft. Use butterfly- or flower-shaped stencils, along with colorful acrylic craft paint, to decorate plain glass candle holders.
