As a casual, country-inspired touch, fill a galvanized steel watering can with water and a handful of wildflowers, such as cornflowers, black-eyed-Susans, poppies and bluebonnets. Other creative vase ideas include vintage tea cups and teapots, Mason jars decorated with ribbons and vibrantly painted tin cans. Place the floral arrangements anywhere in your home, from the dinner table to a bedroom wall shelf.

Use candy and baked goods to create sweet spring decorations. The tasty treats make ideal party decor and favors. Make a batch of vanilla cupcakes and top them with fluffy, pastel-hued frosting and candle sprinkles. Display the goodies on a tiered vintage cake stand in the center of a dessert table. Fill a clear glass vase with jelly beans or gumballs and insert faux flower stems. Create a candy topiary by attaching gumdrops to a round polystyrene ball with toothpicks.
