AutoCAD 2010 MEP Minimum Requirements
AutoCAD 2010 MEP is a computer-aided design package geared toward mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drafters and designers. The program includes a design component as well as the ability to edit designs and output them to a wide-format printer or commercial printing service. AutoCAD 2010 MEP runs on Windows systems and is capable of interfacing with and opening documents from other Autodesk AutoCAD programs.

AutoCAD 2010 MEP requires an Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon processor running at 1.4 gigahertz or higher, if running the 32-bit version of the program. The 64-bit version requires an Intel Pentium 4 with Intel EM64T support and SSE2 technology, Intel Xeon with Intel EM64T support and SSE2 technology, AMD Athlon 64 with SSE2 technology, or AMD Opteron processor with SSE2 technology.

AutoCAD 2010 MEP is compatible with all versions of Microsoft Windows 7, including 32-bit and 64-bit versions; and Windows Vista, including 32-bit and 64-bit Enterprise, Business, Premium and Ultimate Edition. AutoCAD 2010 MEP is also compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later 32-bit versions, including Professional, Home and Tablet PC Edition, Professional x64 Edition SP 2 or later, and Windows 2000 SP 4.

AutoCAD 2010 MEP requires at least 2GB of RAM for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and 3GB of free hard disk space for installation and program operation, if running the 32-bit version. If running the 64-bit version, your system needs 1.5GB of free hard disk space for installation and program operation.

The AutoCAD program requires a 1,280-pixel-by-1,024-pixel resolution monitor and display adapter capable of processing and displaying 24-bit color. Your system needs an Internet connection and Internet Explorer 6.0 or later for registering the program, a DVD-ROM drive for program installation discs and a Microsoft compliant mouse.

The program is available for purchase directly from Autodesk, the program’s manufacturer, as well as from authorized Autodesk software resellers.
