If you want to send files larger than 2GB, you can sign up for a SendThisFile premium account, which allows you to send files of unlimited sizes and adds security and tracking features. An application download is required to send emails greater than 2GB. As of the date of publication, premium plans start at $9.95 per month for 10GB of transfer per month and range up to $595 per month for 2,000GB of monthly emails.

    • DropSend.com offers free options for sending a few emails a month and more fully featured options for a monthly fee. You can send up to five emails per month with the DropSend Lite free plan, with a maximum file size of 2GB. As of the date of publication, users who need more transfers can send up to 15 monthly emails with the $5 per month basic plan. Standard, Pro and Business plans cost $9, $19 and $99 per month respectively and increase your maximum transfers and add security and encryption features.

    • LargeFilesASAP.com sets itself apart from other large file email services because it requires no registration for use; you can send an email with one attachment to one recipient for free with a maximum file size of 2GB. You may pay a one-time fee to add features such as multiple recipients and multiple attachments. LargeFilesASAP does reserve the right to send you promotional emails about the LargeFilesASAP service and its sister XoomFile service.
